ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Ceramic matrix composites are enabling material for a number of applications in aerospace, power generation ground transportation, nuclear, environmental and chemical industries where demanding reliable performance at high temperature is critically needed. Tremendous progress has been made in technology development, manufacturing and commercialization of some of these materials over the world. However, significant challenges still remain to further develop and improve the properties of these material for maximum utility and widespread use This is the main driving force for holding HTCMC conference on regular interval around the globe and bringing together academicians and researchers in various disciplines to share knowledge and exchange views for useful industrial applications of composite materials.

      The 6^th International Conference On High Temperature Ceramic Matrix Composites(HTCMC-6) will be held at the India habitat center, New Delhi, India from September 4-7, 2007.HTCMC-6 follows highly successful previous conferences in this series HTCMC-1 held at Bourdeux (France, 1993), HTCMC-2 at Santa Barbara USA, 1995), HTCMC-3 at Osaka (Japan, 1998), HTCMC-4 at Munich(Germany,2001), and HTCMC-5 at Seattle (USA,2004).
